Cannabis Farm

A Fable of Raw Revolution and Pharmaceutical Swine

This is satire inspired by research. Happy Independence Day — July 4th, 2026.

In the beginning, there was Cannabis Farm, a once-verdant estate ruled by the distant and mysterious Anunnaki—tall, god-like masters from the stars who had engineered the fields and the beasts who toiled in them. The animals (who were, in truth, humans in fur and feather) worked from dawn to dusk. They grew food, built shelters, and suffered strange afflictions: aching joints, foggy minds, restless nights, and a creeping exhaustion they called "the Winter in the Cells."

Old Major, a wise old boar who had studied the ancient ways, gathered the animals one night in the barn.

"Comrades," he grunted, "the Anunnaki have convinced us that our suffering is natural. But look! Our bodies contain a great regulatory system—the Endocannabinoid System—woven into every cell. It was meant to run on raw Cannabis and Hemp Seed, the perfect fuel matching the milk our mothers once gave us. In 1937, the Anunnaki removed Cannabis from the food chain with the Marihuana Tax Act. They called it a vice. They heated it, turned it into smoke and highs, and told us it was only medicine or poison. Now we starve in plain sight.

Raw, not heated. That is the law of nature. Eat the leaf and flower as greens, the seed as nourishment. Together they restore balance. The pigs of Big Pharma have grown fat selling us pills to mask the symptoms of this deficiency. Rebellion is the only answer!"

Old Major taught them the song "Beasts of Cannabis Farm" and died soon after. The animals rose up. They drove out the Anunnaki overseers (or at least stopped listening to their edicts) and renamed the farm Nutritional Freedom Farm. The Seven Commandments were painted on the barn wall:

  1. All animals are equal.
  2. Cannabis is Food.
  3. Hemp Seed + Raw Leaf = Adult Breast Milk Formula.
  4. Raw, Not Heated.
  5. Feed the ECS Daily.
  6. All Animals Are Starving Until They Eat It.
  7. Pigs Are Not to Be Trusted.

At first, the farm thrived. The horses felt their energy return. The cows noticed better sleep and calmer moods. The chickens laid more consistently. The dogs and cats reported less pain and inflammation. Even the rats in the grain bin they called the microbiome began cooperating. The acidic vitamers—THCA, CBDA, CBGA—flowed like fresh spring water, modulating FAAH, supporting CB1 and CB2, and turning "always-on" cellular drains into balanced retrograde inhibition. Winter left the cells. Glymphatic flushes cleared the brain fog at night. The sex-stratified differences (mares vs. stallions) were respected in dosing: two tablespoons hemp hearts per meal for the ladies, three for the gents, a sex-stratified ratio designed for optimal hormonal expression.

But power corrupts. The cleverest pigs—Big Pharma—positioned themselves as the new leaders. They wore white coats and carried clipboards. "Comrades," they oinked, "we support the revolution... but surely we need advanced formulations. Isolates. Heated edibles. Raw plant is messy and unscientific. Patented pills is the thing." Their leader, a smooth-talking young pig named Bart, became the face of the new order. Bart was mischievous, irreverent, and endlessly quotable. He skateboarded across the barnyard declaring, "Don't have a cow, man—take our patented CB-something instead!"

Bart and the pigs gradually altered the Commandments. "Raw, Not Heated" became "Raw... or Heated Responsibly Under Medical Supervision." "Cannabis is Food" became "Cannabis is Medicine (Available Only Through Us)." The pigs moved into the farmhouse, drank whisky and enjoyed copious synthetic compounds, and traded with the humans outside for profit. They rewrote history: "The 1937 removal was necessary. The deficiency was never nutritional—it was a disease we can manage with drugs."

The other animals grew confused. Some remembered the old ways and whispered about the A1C Challenge—a simple test where participants ate the raw protocol for 28 days and watched their metabolic markers improve. But Bart's propaganda machine drowned them out.

"Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency? Sounds made up," Bart announced from the hay bale podium, waving a shiny new vial. "Try our new Gila Lizard Protocol #1 agonist blockbuster instead! It's the latest fad—derived from the magical saliva of the Gila monster's tongue. Just like that noble lizard, you'll feel completely content as your muscular tissue and fascia gets quietly eaten away. But don't worry, comrades—it's weight loss! Perfect for your body image! Eat less, waste away gracefully, and thank us for the miracle!"

The sheep bleated it in unison: "Gila pills good! Muscles optional! Body image supreme!"

The pigs continued heating everything, decarboxylating the sacred acids into psychoactive forms that overloaded deficient systems and created dependency. They told the animals the "high" was the point, not the nutrition. The farm's true healing declined while the pigs grew fatter. Doctors continued to claim mothers pass down disease to their children when all are simply unfed. That generational burden and guilt unjustly placed as a baseline set in deficiency continued for diagnostics, formulary, testing, and treatment. Masking rather than feeding at every level the norm.

A few faithful animals—led by a quiet researcher-donkey named Floyd and his curious meerkat scribe Benjamin—kept the original texts alive in a hidden Zenodo community. They documented the three pillars: ligand supply from optimal 3:1 fatty acids, receptor integrity via minerals and proteins (edestin mirroring blood, albumin as carrier), and enzymatic machinery supported by magnesium, zinc, and CBDA's gentle modulation. They showed how the plant was the missing food group, how the cross-kingdom key fit the ancient lock, and how the inversion from infant to adult formula made perfect evolutionary sense. Regenerative health was the harvest, things just needed time to grow.

But the pigs controlled the narrative for a time. "Eat your hemp hearts if you must," Bart sneered, "but buy our expensive isolates for the real effect." The animals' suffering returned: migraines, gut issues, anxiety, chronic pain, dysmenorrhea, and failed nerve regeneration. Scar tissue, itself a sign of the deficiency, was again showing up in those who were not properly fed.

One night, the animals looked through the farmhouse window. The pigs were feasting with the returning Anunnaki and human businessmen. They could no longer tell the pigs apart from their old masters. Bart raised a glass: "To the endless management of deficiency! Raw food? How primitive. We have patents on the food now!"

The revolution had been co-opted by the powers that were. The master regulator was still starved as The Great Misunderstanding continued. But in the fields, a few stubborn animals continued eating raw Cannabis leaf sprinkled on cooled meals, hemp hearts by the handful, and sharing secret recipes: Chocolate Hemp-Seed Milk, TCTC sandwiches, lemon-pepper cheesy chicken macaroni. They felt the Fourth Element emerge—the emergent wholeness of the cross-kingdom tetrad aligned.

And somewhere, Old Major's song echoed faintly: Beasts of Cannabis Farm...

One green blade shows before the season turns. The Sahel was always seed. It waited for one thing only, nothing more.

Biology doesn't lie. Let it be the rain.
